Health Science Center development officer named

Mary Ann Kiely named associate vice president for development at UF Health Science Center.

Mary Ann Kiely brings her 20 years of experience in fundraising to the UF Health Science Center and Shands HealthCare as associate vice president for development.

Kiely, formerly with the University of Rochester, will work with UF’s vice president of development, the deans of the colleges, the directors of the research centers and institutes, and the HSC and Shands HealthCare development teams to foster broad-based fundraising and constituency building across Gainesville and Jacksonville, in support of its missions of patient care, education and research.

Throughout her career, Kiely has substantially strengthened relations with alumni, grateful patients and community supporters and successfully completed a medical student scholarship campaign.

“I am very impressed with the support the College of Medicine receives from its alumni and friends, and I look forward to working with them to ensure that the good work being accomplished every day at the College of Medicine continues for generations to come,” Kiely said.
