The dedication ceremony for the George T. Harrell, MD, Medical Education Building was held July 29, which was also the first day of medical school for the class of 2019. To start the day, first-year students met in one of the large learning studios for orientation. That evening, guests enjoyed a reception following a ribbon cutting, and second-year medical students provide entertainment during the dedication event.
